ABOUT ME

About Me

MORE ABOUT ME

Hi there! I'm Mohammed Abdessetar Elyagoubi

Software engineer at Sofrecom (Orange Group) in Rabat. I build and operate Java/Spring Boot microservices in production. I contribute to the OpenTelemetry Java SDK, and I'm speaking at Devoxx Morocco 2026 — lightning talk “The Future of Open Source Has New Faces” — on trust and AI in open-source contributions.

I'm deepening observability as an engineering skill — how services behave under load, how contributions earn maintainer trust, and how to keep ownership of the systems I touch. Earlier web and tooling work stays on the site as proof of range, not as the lead story.

Lightning talk on trust and AI in open-source contributions: AI can lower the barrier to opening a pull request, but it does not lower the maintainer trust bar.
